Wednesday, July 11, 2007 - 2:58 p.m. Yes, it is true, I have been blogging at various other locations under various other names for the past...three years? Something like that. Whatever. Point is, I've said it before but now I think maybe I'll try it again. I think I'll blog here for a while. I particularly like this whole diary thing because no one who has ever seen me breathe reads this any more. That's kind of sad, and kind of the way it just is, and kind of comforting. I can say whatever the eff I feel like. Since I stopped blogging here, a lot of Things happened in my life. Jason and I got divorced (amicably, thank the Gods). I dated one person seriously. I moved 4 times. I have had 6 different jobs (5 at the same company) and 2 job offers I didn't accept. I developed some pretty serious insomnia and a stress-related skin condition. I have been happy, mostly. I have been unhappy, sometimes. I always viewed this diary as my place that I wrote no-drama entries. I tried to be funny, and witty, and have fun too. There were few exceptions to the rule (my 9/11 entry, for example, or this little piece of poetry), but generally I liked to just amuse myself by blathering on hereabouts. Let's try that some more. Diaryland, you may just be my immortal beloved. Like The Cramps used to be, or Thrill Kill Kult, or maybe The Cure. I can't remember. I do need to spiff this place up a little bit if I'm going to stick around, though. Not really sure how I put up with this happy horseshit for so long, before. Oh, did I mention I'm not as happy-go-lucky as I was before? It's okay, we'll all get used to it. And you'll like it, just like you liked the old Mlle. Trust me, Charlie. Stick around. You're in for a good ride.
